Let me introduce myself...

Hello, this is a pretty generic first blog post, but I decided to steer clear of the "hello world". If you have spent any time learning to use web or programming software, indeed, if you have spent anytime on the internet... In fact, if you have spent anytime existing over the past decade or two, you'll have come across this snippet in some way, shape or form.

It does perfectly embolden and inspire people to the possibilities of the venture they are undertaking, and has become a short hand, and go to first statement, when doing tutorials or learning a new communications/publishing process.

But that is why I'm choosing not to use it!

We can do what everyone else is doing, but we don't have to. And sometimes its the little differences that separate you from the crowd, and help you to make that first step in building a relationship with, well, 'the world'.

And hopefully you'll look around long enough to realise that is what I want to do. Be clear and conscious, and accessible to all without sacrificing form for function.
